cant get rid of babylon

hi suddenly my regular browser google crome has been taken over by babylon and i cant get rid ideas pse im desperate its driving me mad

Its a pig to get rid of. Disable in Chrome extensions, delete and then go to remove programs and take it out of there too.

Failing all of that, there is always malwarebytes anti-malware. Use it all the time.

Rather, Malwarebytes in Safemode and try Trendmicro House Call. Just google it.

original p[ost was april 2013..so im assumig the op has got rid of it but i had this problem, i just deleted my firefox browser, just make sure you save your bookmarks etc...and reinstalled again..seems to have got rid of it..

thanks johnny bravo better late then never nice of you to reply.my son came and did some with the browser perhaps it was that.anyway he told me of for downloading things he says thats why i get those probs

I also downloaded hijackthis as well free prog but read and use with caution

I use firefox and I backup my settings, and sometimes I find easier to uninstall/ reinstall it and replace my settings, when it becomes cluttered with rubbish.

I tend too do the same now that Babylon seems too creep on with a lot of free software as well sneaky little tinker
