is there a way you can have the desktop without hacking the registry guys..that way you click on navigator and it takes you straight in ??

I'm also looking for some help.
I've got the unlock pack working but the tom tom files I've got don't seem
to work.
the tom tom files seem to want to install , I think they are probably the wrong ones.

Its working fine now , it helps when you have the right software.
Couple of questions 1: the maps zip has 3 zip files i was only able to copy over one as they are all named the
same is this right ?
2 : do these maps come with speed cameras ?

you only need the one as far as I know ive only got one

no u need to get the speed cameras and add them like I say in THIS POST

The crazy cow told me to take a RIGHT turn at a ONE WAY LEFT ONLY junction ;-)
Road has been like that for at least 5 years now so dont know why it hasn't been updated.
Thats with TomTom 6 installed !

Have not tried the MioMaps yet. They use a shell.ini file. Do you think I can drag and drop these to a blank card also ?

The maps I have are 6.75

Some folks on other sites are saying the maps are a year old and will not be updated any more. Don't know if there is any truth in that.

Are the MioMaps any more up-to-date than TomTom ?

Put the file called Zip into the tomtom folder or if youve renamed it into the mobilenavigator folder

you can get the post code file from the downloads section if its not in the links..
