If its a Panasonic PW series or a Pioneer plasma I'd keep it mate. Some of the newer tellys cant touch those TVs for normal broadcasts which is what most people watch.

the picture on the Goodmans site shows a GTVL42W15HD which is the same model on currys site, but I'd still phone and make sure before ordering incase they have just used the pic and its a diff model.

Dont know where you live mate but I saw a 50" Sony LCD for 800 notes in Sony Shop Lakeside Thurrock. I dont really like Sony but at that price..

Rang currys and they wont price match... Goodmans give 1 year warranty but you need to write to them by letter...

Have a look at this

Ebuyer are selling a 42" Relisy HD Ready for £589. Reviews are top drawer!! However Relisy have gone into receivership, tho the tellys are quality. I've got a 19" in one of the bedrooms and have just order this one.

At that resolution its only 720p

720p or 1080i and 1080i is cracking i doubt you will see much difference between 1080i and 1080p its only the scanning that is different.
