Upon reflection of Englands performance in the tournament
England conceded 4 goals
Joe Hart culpable for half of them.
Walker MOM in the first two games
Never got a cross in against Iceland
Cahill and Smalling great at passing the ball square and back
Not so good at putting their bodies on the line like most of England's opponents
Danny Rose average going forward, not so good defensively.
Eric Dier Scored a blinder
Not sure that he does anything that any other central midfielder could do given the job.
Rooney - shoehorned into the team as a midfielder
Created nothing but scored his penalty
Dele Ali - Average at best
Adam Lallana very skilful but cant finish
Raheem Sterling very skilful but cant finish
Harry Kane looked tired, couldn't take a decent corner or free kick, easily marked out of the game through lack of movement. Had way too much game time.
Daniel Sturridge used his skill to beat a man but produced nothing apart from his goal (in his defence he mostly played on the right and very easy to read)
Jamie Vardy not given enough game time.
Marcus Rashford - Really don't know why he was chosen ahead of Andros Townsend, but he did give me some hope in the last 5 minutes.
Andy Carol - Troy Deaney - Ricky Lambert - Peter Crouch
Who needs a plan B?
Finally Roy Hodgson
Played players out of position - Left under performing players on for too long, and couldn't find a way to win matches.
In case you are reading this Roy
1)Get the ball wide
2)Get behind the defence
3)Put decent crosses into the box
4)Get bodies into the box
5)The goal is 8 feet high and 8 yards wide, shouldn't be too difficult to get an effort on target
