Im kinda stuck myself still!

In ireland, have the DW 2.0 image running evocamd2.12 and all that good stuff.

Just got the 3 files there the hypercam ones and placed them into the var/bin folder and changed to 755!

tried starting it in telnet all it says is hypercam not found, i am telnetting in the right directory aswell.

I have a 500c and was wondering if there is anything else im missing like should i have had a previous version of hypercam already installed??

I stand to be corrected but from my experience and other posters, it looks like the fix doesn't work (or some extra steps are required??) on enigma/DW builds. I spent a lot of time on my 2.1 image, but no joy.
reverted to a DK1.1 one

strange one that I have the 600c clearing all sky and movies but not the bbc1 2 3 utv chanel 4 at the races any one any suggestions on this

are you doing:

# cd /var/bin
# chmod 755 hyper*
# ./hypercam_1.06

if you type "ls -al" in the directory the listing should show like this:

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 8344 Jan 1 01:16 hypercam.cfg
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 476 Jan 1 01:16 hypercam.keys
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 822076 Jan 1 01:17 hypercam_1.06

the x's signify that it's executable

Am I correct in saying that this fix wont autoroll,i.e if the Nagra 2 keys change it wont update ?
The key file only seems to contain one key.

As there doesn't appear to of ever been a keyroll on N2 in Ireland its pretty much impossible to predict what its going to look like so no point worrying about it for now.

As the N2 card is quite complex most of the Softcams work by using a 'Funcard' simulation technique - they will only handle the discrete keyroll methods that they are programmed to handle.

Now the Op keys are available, anybody out there fancy trying to modify one of the Cam sources so that your not reliant on fixes from elsewhere ?

Would love to nozzer but wouldn't know where to start m8,plus probably not the sharpest pencil in the box so would be a slow process.
But hey I am up for a challenge if you can point me in the right direction.
