Wii games

can any 1 tell me why when i put an Wii Game into my laptop nothing happens its as if my pc isnt recognising the disk, is this because its an original and theres a code stopping me making a back up copy

You need a special patched DVD-Rom drive to read a Wii disc .
It used to take hours to rip a Wii disc,not sure how long it takes now.

errr, aint it easier to just grab from a newsgroup or respected torrent site? even more so if its scrubbed

if you have usb configurable loader rip it to ur hard drive and then put it on your pc to make a back up, otherwise try wiiso for the games or like uk says a good torrent or preferably a newsgroup if you use them!!!
