Got to work this evening and we've got a new monitor in one of the offices.

Its got this green thing, like a stickle brick on the front....

What the hell is it for???

I'm guessing its a copy holder for holding paperwork while you type. Or a hairbrush ;)

Its to scratch your balls while waiting for the printer to print lol:proud:

All good answers, but i don't think any are right.

I'd love to know what it is??

Apparently the monitor is energy saving so I'm thinking its something to do with being green.... maybe???

never seen anything like that before......
please find out what it is lol

looks like a pen holder to me like gents, should i get my coat, lol!

It's the control rods for the reactor, put them back before it goes critical!

When I posted this, I kinda expected someone to say "oh thats for..."

I don't feel so stupid now. Lol.

maybe get the model of the monitor and google it . may just tell you what its for .

think big hol is on to something though pen holder or paperwork stand

You might not feel so stupid, but have you discovered what it is really for yet ?

Be interesting to find out what it is for and how much more the same monitor costs without this unknown device fitted.

What's the monitor make and model?

It's bugging me now.

lol dutch thats horrible !!
its never any of those previously mentioned...come on someone must know what it is...

LOL that is really strange.
It looks like a pen stand but I have googled the hell out of the words, pen, stand, monitor, base, green.

Nothing came up.

Its a benq monitor, but i cant get the model number until tomorrow afternoon when i get to work.

I did google the monitor before posting on here and the 'green thing' wasnt even mentioned. There was no pics of the monitor anywhere either, and only a few sites mentioned it.

I also tried all different things 'green, pen... etc.'

LOL its bugging me too.
