Codes

Hello, I am very new to this and this is my first post. I have D/L the Keygen and the Framework and entered the codes in and they work brilliant. I would like to offer my thanks and support in any way I can for the cause. The misuse of the codes by the muppett thats was selling them on ebay is betrayal and I could not believe this. Keep up the good work guys

Hi all, I'm new to the site and a bit of a noobie to all of this. I downloaded the Keygen and entered the codes in and it works perfectly, it did take awhile to work out what codes I were suppose to enter though. I would just like to say thanks to the all the people who have contributed to this forum and for this excellent piece of software. Keep up the good work guys

The thing that puzles me is - why are we seeing Old redhot codes used for xtraview. surely you would have thought there were infanite combinations (or is there?)
anyone any point of view on this!

although i have not seen any RH codes for the past 3 nights!

lets keep an eye on this one

I am hoping for the site to be usuable by he weekend, then get the keygen to work with it.

sounds ok to me
im new to this so will watch with anticipation
cheers

Just looked at stats for old page, and in the time it was online, there was 102MB transferred. Thats stupid, all it is is a simple text only page!

Unless the ebay person got angry and tried to take it down with repetitive requests...

Anyway, think i got the user registration thing sorted, so it might be working sooner than next week.

102MB : shocked2 - Can you tell how many hits it had?

Do you have the IP stats? Just a scan of it will indicate whether one (or several) IPs are trying to DoS you (Denial of Service, sorry for the pun). If that is so, do a reverse DNS and a WHOIS and see if you can find out who the guy is.

Sounds good. I think this is the best solution. You're only problem is the issuing of username/passwords. If a user needs to email you then you might find you'll get mailbombed by the whacko. If you use a registration page then it means the ebay can just publicize the reg page with the keygen, and so you've gained nothing.

I think a better action would be to restrict usernames to accounts that are registered here

If it were me coding it I'd do as follows (liberally "borrowed" from microshaft):

1. Calculate a hash of the client hardware (changes infrequently unlike email etc).

How would you do that? There's no access to the code that Microsoft uses (although a simple solution would be to use low level disk access to get the serial number of the hard disk).

Thats what it was going to be :)

Codes coming along well. Easily be ready for next week(if progress stays at same rate).
