VM want their old box back

So I finally cancelled with VM :banana:

but the buggers want their box back...and it's been hacked to bits. It's an old pace 1000 box.

I was thinking that I'd chuck any box lying around (that hasn't been hacked) into the bag that they sent and cross my fingers that they have no record of it. The box is around 7 years old.

What ya reckon lads, I think i'd get away with it.

If you return your subbed box then one thing is certain - they will not be sending the box out to a new subscriber and is likely to end up in the bin.

But if you mess with a subbed box, as you should know all too well you should not, then you only have yourself to blame if things do not work out.

Ah that's such a shame, my cousin who's a student in Oz and has only been beaten up a few times in Melbourne reckons I'll be alwight getting in.

Cheers mate I'll be OK, they sent me a carrier bag to send the box back, somehow I don't think it will survive the journey with RM handling it.

just make sure it wont power up!!!!!
they are not going to start fixing a pace 1000 to test it as the just bin them now,
but i am very surprised they want it back. for a few years now with all pace 1000 and 2000 the just told customers to dispose of it as they no longer issue them on installs.

i heard that if you stick a patched tesco club card in a pace 1000 you get free telly.

Apparently you have to spit on the card before you insert it to pick up all of the channels.

Just send the box with no internals and if they call you tell them 'feck knows - it worked for me'
