V8 TT Maps Cracked

As stated by me in an earlier post there is now a new and even simpler way to activate your new TT maps ect.
Firstly and most important - make a full back up copy of your Tomtom !!!
Also you can make a note of your DeviceID code - you may possibly need it later to activate your maps, to get it tap the GPS bars on bottom right of your screen, then on next screen tap the small box that shows the Navcore version number - your DeviceID code is a 10 digit code similar to this - ABC12 345DE

The new V825.2157 maps are the full version maps with ALG, ASR & IQ Routes and they will only work on units with Navcore software version - 820* & 83** (& any newer Navcore releases).
The new V825.2159 maps have the same map but no ALG, ASR or IQ Routes but will work on most new Navcore versions - 74**, 79**, 8002, 801*, 8020, 8051, 8060, 8070, 820* & 83**.

If you have an earlier Tomtom unit and want to use the 'extras' such as ALG (Lane Guidance), IQ Routes & possibly ASR (Speech Recognition) then you will need to use a ready patched version of Navcore - but you may find that your Tomtom does not operate 100% with a patched Navcore.

Here is a copy of Navcore v8.204 that I have working on my Go500 with the latest v825.2157 UK & RoI map :-
Code:

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

Extract zip file to your PC - open folder named ' Copy Contents To Tomtom Memory ' and copy all files to a blank memory card (or internal memory). If you are using a unit with a different screen size to the Go500 you will have to replace the 3 .BMP files with copies from your unit (antitheft, lowbattery & splash).

If you are using a Genuine version of Navcore then you will need to 'Patch' the "ttsystem" file on your Tomtom if you want to use a 'copied' map. Use Tomtom Home to update your Tomtom to the latest version of Navcore before you do any patching or adding any new maps.

Thanks to yDdraigGoch (from another forum) for creating this tool - you can download it from here :-
Code:

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

Install it to your PC & Start programme. You need to have .NET framework on your PC to use this tool - available here if required :-
Code:

.NET Framework: Download

Click on PATCH FILE and then find the file on your Tomtom named "ttsystem" (if you do not have the file named ttsystem, use the file named "pndnavigator") - you can do this either connected to your Tomtom or you can use a memory card reader. Once you have found the file simply click on Go !!.

This tool can also be used to patch Tomtom Home, which will enable you to use Tomtom Home to operate your Tomtom on your PC - click on the Help on the tool which will show you the possible locations on your PC for the .dll that you must patch (set your PC to show hidden files & folders for this stage).

The next step is to add the map folder to your Tomtom - delete any map folders that have the same name as your new map folder first- then make sure you do not have one map folder inside another folder then copy the new map folder onto your Tomtom.

Here are the two latest v825.**** UK & RoI maps - see above for the best one for your unit :-
V825.2159 :-
Code:

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

V825.2157 :-
Code:

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

If you need the UK postcode file get them from here :-
Code:

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

Copy folder named ' zip ' to your Tomtom

Now you must activate your new map, and with this latest activation tool by Albert is very easy to use (if you have any problems click on the HELP button), get it from here :-
Code:

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

or use Albert's link if available :-
Code:

Albert's Easy Map Activator

[EDIT] This latest activation tool can also be used to patch your Tomtom and Tomtom Home.

Note - every time you start up your Tomtom after you have either removed your memory card or connected it to your PC it may take a few minutes to boot up.

its the sprint version ,..... tomtom 7 with an 8 usa canada map ,..... HELP PLEASE ,.... i cannot dowmload

this is great news, cant believe the amount they want to charge for their maps!,

they advertise it as £6ish per quarter which doesnt sound too bad, then when you go in it says £27 ish, then once you accept this it jumps up to £55!!!

F£$k em

keep up the good work ;-)

Diddy Thanks for the hard work.

Had problems with the voices on my TomTom OneV3 with core V8.204 (your version).

Finally worked out not to select the computer voices as these don't seem to work on mine.

Everything else seems to be working will check on the way home tonight

Thanks Diddy,

Upgraded my tomtom one V2 navcore to 8.204, works a treat.

Same problem as Ju with the computer voices not working but hey no great loss, I guess these models were not designed for that function anyways!

Cheers

Glad some of you are finding my post usefull. Thought id just add (since i can edit my post above.
to get the postcode navigation working you must do the following
Go into settings and change keyboard layout to small. Also again in settings change keyboard to quewerty.
If you forget to do this your Tt will reboot when you try to navigate via the postcode function.
As for the computer voices.......Ill need to have a wee check on that...I shall post again.:Smokin::Smokin::Smokin:

Computer Voices re TTS

For LoquendoTTS (voices x10): example EnglishGb – Kate

Download the folder LoquendoTTS -

Extract the folder LoquendoTTS
- Download the voice : EnglishGb - Kate
HTML:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

Extract the folder : EnglishGb - Kate

- Install the folder LoquendoTTS (downloaded) to the root of your TomTom
- Open the folder LoquendoTTS (of your TomTom)
Open the folder EnglishGb - Kate, make a copy of the folder EnglishGb (downloaded) and paste it in the folder LoquendoTTS (of your TomTom), close the folder LoquendoTTS
copy the folder LoquendoTTS and paste it in the root of your TomTom

NB - change emumode(model.txt) to onettssdk or xls (this file is on the root of your SD card and is editable via any text editor.
Also if you have a file called TTSOFF - it is either in the root of SD card or in the folder called switchfiles DELETE this file.
The theory at least is your computer voices "should" now work.
Remember - TT one ect was not designed for the above - but this method has been reported as working. If you find everything slowing up or crashing then Replace TTSOFF to where it was (It is included in switchfile.rar) which is included in the files above that you downloaded.

This is a slightly adapted tutorial that was created by others. Credit to those who originally created this stuff AKA Russell et all

Re: Computer Voices re TTS

Hi Diddy

Thanks for your efforts. Unfortunately could not get this one to work on OneV2.

I could see the Kate Computer voice but just get silence when I select it!

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but I already has an existing "LoquendoTTS" folder on the root (much smaller size and less folders within). I deleted that and replaced it with the one you posted. Also I could not see any of the files mentioned in your last paragarph above.

Thanks anywho :) i'm more than pleased with my updated tomtom now, and I can now use the handsfree calling functions, very handy!

Yes the hands free is very good even on my old TT One V1. As for not having the TTSOFF file.....it should have come with the navcore download. It is deffo in a little zip file called switchfiles. Ill post it up on its own later if/when I get some spare time.

@Diddy,
Hello m8
im new to the sat nav stuff, have just bought a tom tom go 710,it has some maps installed gran canaria and western europe.
i have downloaded different versions of the uk maps and installed them to the sd card followed the info you have uploaded with no joy ,when i go to switch map section on the tomtom no maps are listed,i have updated the navcore to 7.903.
i have watched the videos over and over again .......still carnt get it to work, maybe im doing somthing stupid.can you help.thanks in advance.

The newer Maps may require V8+ of the application. Try running the keygen application first, if that doesn't work then look to install a newer application :)

Hi,i have tried with map vesions 8.25 and 7.25 with no joy,the maps 7.25 should be ok with navcore 7.903 or so it says.thanks for your help, its bugging me that they dont show in the tomtom maps section.

Sounds like your not patching the ttsystem file right?

@ Hibbydave,
i have been using the easy tools auto, to keygen and patch have you any other tutorials,i could read and understand...for a newbee tha is ...lol:Cheers:

You certainly need to patch the maps and either patch the TTSystem or use a cracked TTSystemSE to be able to see the maps.
