Hi folks im new here but looks to have a lot of good info, apologies if i have posted in the wrong place.
Sadly my freeview PVR broke but luckily my sister was having the
virgin tivo box installed at her apartment and getting her V+HD box moved to her bedroom.
She had no real desire for a tv in her bedroom, so since I used to have virgin tv at my house (now only phone and broadband) I was welcome to try it out her old v+hd box.
So I picked it up took it home & plugged it in expecting it not to work, but to my surprise there were more channels than i got with freeview! I turned it off and did some research and reading up on this before i reconnect.
My questions are can virgin telli am doing this?
It is a scientificatlantaexplorer 8300DV v+HDbox. Does this 'talk back' to VM?
Do i need a 50db noise blocker to stop talk back and VM finding out?
Many thanks in advance.
