Other upgrade ?

Hi There
I am currently using an Amazon TV Fire stick with Kodi and was looking at the ads for Wetek play.
Can anybody tell me is it worth the expense of upgrading ?
I was thinking of one with a sat tuner, so I presume there must be images out there for them to switch from tv to android.
Opinions greatly appreciated.

Theres a Technomate being released which is non linux and android etc.
Might be worth a wait and see.
