All of a sudden both Torrents and NZB have stopped working
Only thing I have installed recently is Plex, would this affect anything ?

I have uninstalled Plex, rebooted laptop and tried both NZB and torrents but still fail to connect

Any ideas

Thanks

I don't know what Plex is but did you get any warnings about it reconfiguring Windows firewall?

Have a look in network settings and see if the firewall is enabled and disable it if it is.

I am going to guess its the firewall but that is odd, I've installed plex clients a number of times without problems.

Which NZB download client are you using ? Is there some sort of error message ?

I dont remember any warnings tbh

I use Grabit for NZB and Deluge for torrents

what should I be looking at in firewall? (windows) and what has made this change all of a sudden :err:

NZB its says unable to connect (tried several files) torrent comes up with Error but cant see anywhere where the report is

Thanks for the replies :)

Just tried them both with firewall off and they both failed to connect :err:

ISP blocking the destination? Just guessing though.
HH.

has your provider started blocking them, my provider has started blocking loads of torrent sites

blocking the sites maybe but blocking the torrent file ?

maybe ?

just me so far but I dont think its the files tbh
its either a setting has changed on laptop or isp blocking I think

try this @Rat I just downloaded it from POTUK and its fine

just trying to work out if its all sites or your laptop

I remember virginmedia blocking certain ports that were associated with news providers. I think 443 or something around that. Does your Usenet provider have other ports available?

Also who is your isp? Is it tesco I'm guessing as you tried news.tesco?

can you run a system restore to a time and date you know when it worked, if that don't fix it you can revert back.

I would like NG to work but at least I have torrents working for now :)

try installing news leacher and see if that allows you to download NZB's
