I could go on forever, lol, I really loved all those 90's hydraulic arcade games like Space Harrier where the entire structure jostled you around

just had some fun re-visiting some old favourites on mame with a few tinnies, all in aid of research for my top 5.

1. football manager (spectrum) who didn't spend hours watching crap stick men graphics and breakin into program to change stuff around!?
2. bubble bobble (arcade) this probably ate most of my pocket money as a kid. still play it a lot and even have on my phone!
3. shinobi (arcade) good platform game but infuriatingly hard at some points! probably ate the rest of my pocket money!!
4. Double dragon (arcade) another game that munched the coin but highly addictive.
5. Splatterhouse (arcade) liked the end of level bits on this as they were quite hard untill you got a rhythm going. also liked the main character and splatting monsters with various quality weapons.

Found that really hard! rediscovered loads of games from my childhood with a speccy emulator. something quite perverse about turning an expensive pc into a 40 quid 80's computer with rubber keys! mmm rubber! : whip :
