Tom tom causing loss of hair

Hi all
Ive got a nokia 6600
Ive mansged to get tomtom 5 on it
I think its in Italian anyone got an english version
Cant seem to get 6 or 66 to work though
I managed to get the canary island maps to work
Now i need the uk maps
but where from?

I have a feeling 6 only works on the newer devices not supported by 5.

both 6 and 66 should work on my phone
But still need maps

you can goto the tomtom website and buy maps from there or try a torrent site for your maps. everything you need is all there m8

i think ive cracked it in Spanish
now the next problem
Wheres the best place to get the
gps bluetooth thing thats needed
Ive read it cost about £30-£40 :banana:

Have a look on ebay mate, normally a few on there. i managed to get mine for £35 inclusive of p & P. mine is a BT- 321 bluetooth GPS Receiver.eBay.co.uk - gps receiver, gps, bluetooth gps receiver, bluetooth gps items at low prices

i got mine from ebay as well for £40 m8, thats where most people are getting there's from.

Ok now i think ive got it working
Tom tom 5 that is
Only problem is it aint in english
the instructions that came with the torrent said this

omTom Mobile 5.0 Install Instructions
--------------------------------------

1. Copy all the folders (except this file) over to your MMC

2. Start the program

3. Accept the Spanish disclaimer

4. Change the language to your preferred

5. Accept the preferred language's disclaimer

6. Set your home

Erm.... that's it really No cracking needed on this one!

Don't forget you'll need a map so I've included the Great Britain
map for the UK folks. Get your POIs from Pocket GPS World
I thoroughly recommend the Gatso POI

I can't take any credit for this I've just brought everything together
in one neat little package for people to share. No need to crack this
version and give your IP address to TomTom (seriously, who's idea was that?)

How do i change the language can anyone tell me :FRIGHT:

in other words from your first menu press the numbers as above that will get you to your language where you will ba able to change your option

if it's differet on your phone:-

goto the menu press on the wrench
then press:-
next
next
next
next
then press on "switch language" you'll see the flag icon there, just click on that and set to what ever language you want.
