Hi , I received my box today do you have to have it connected to the internet to receive channels .I have connected LNB but as i go through network setup wizard it exits is this because of no ethernet lead in .I cannot connect up yet as i haven`t a lead long enough .I just want to check out HD channels at the moments .All help appreciated

You don't need to setup the Ethernet if you're not going to use it.

You will need to do a manual scan of the satellites if you want any channels.

It wont do a scan for some reason please setup tuner settings before you do a service scan. I go to tuner its says not configured ?

You need to configure it mate.

Is your dish fixed for Sky UK?

If so do this, Press Menu, Setup, Service Searching, Tuner Configuration, Press OK on the screen which lists your tuner, one Configuration Mode, highlight it and change it to ADVANCED, move down to Satellite and change that to 28.2 Eurobird, move down to LNB and change it to LNB 1.

Press OK and you should have the Sky UK satellite ready for scanning.
