The actual Super mario bros 2 game from the old nes, is available on GBA which can be played on the DS. New Super Mario Bros on DS is the latest Mario game, but its a little short.

the marios were the greatest much better than sonic

if there is a brand new one coming out then it needs to be damn good to compare to the classics i can tell you
