Hi,

I'm still a little unclear after reading through and wondered if someone can help.

I have 2.01 and I need to upgrade to either 2.5 or 2.6 and I then copy the DOWNDATER FINAL AUTO EBOOT to my memory stick. I have GTA, so would I need to install Eboot to do the next step? That's the bit I'm confused about as I've not installed or used Eboot before.

Thanks
Paul.

It has proven to work with factory installed 2.50/2.60 firmwares. This warning removed from the readme.
there was a warning saying it dont work origionaly in the beta versions.

Yes you need to use an eloader.

You put the downgrader program in your game folder on your memory stick. You also need the dumped flash files from a 1.5 firmware psp. These are put in the root directory of your memstick.
You then run GTA and go to a saved game. You will then see the icon for the eloader. Pick this as the game to load and then this brings up the eloader menu. From this pick the downloader file and it will downgrade the psp to 1.5

Thanks for the help.

Can anyone email/pm/ or provide a link to download eloader please.
I've searched in Google but seem to be going around in an endless loop.

Thanks
Paul.

Hi,

I've successfully upgraded from 2.01 to 2.5 and just reading through the downgrade to 1.5 instructions.
When it refers to "someone with 1.50 to pass you a folder called DOWNDATER and copy it to the root of your memstick."
Is this the directory \1.50 HELPER
that is found in DOWNDATER_FINAL_AUTO directory or am I just confused :)

Thanks
Paul.
