SUCCESSFULY downgraded 2.6 to 1.50 (NOT a TA-082 PSP!)

Hi,

I'm back again :)

I've copied the files to the memory stick, I ran GTA, and then in the GTA Loader menu, I choose the downdater test. After about 2-3 seconds it crashes and its too quick to see any error messages. It then powers off straight away.
I've tried installing the eloader097_nocache.exe again but it always crashes out at the same point.

Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks
Paul.

put the 1.5 firmware eboot file in folder
PSP/GAMES/UPDATE

u might need to make the update folder

A big thanks to everyone. I've manged to downgrade to 1.5 now.

For some reason when I upgraded from 2.01 to 2.5, the downgrade just crashed out. So in the end I upgraded again from 2.5 to 2.6 and then the downgrade worked first time.

Thanks
Paul.

every thing is in the zip
hi all,
i downloaded this mega pack from the ftp... now i go thtis confusion

one of the main instruction was:
2) Wait for someone with 1.50 to pass you a folder called DOWNDATER and copy it to the root of your memstick.

I unRAR this mega files, and i saw 2 folders under the 1.5 files folder:
a) DOWNDATER (with DUMP, PRX and etc under it)
b) PSP>GAME>Downdater>Eboot.PBP

I am not sure which to use? or i need both?
but instruction on say use the DOWNDATER folder,

so the b) folder with PSP>GAME>...Eboot.PBP is not needed?

next questions:
i went to this http://www.psphacks.net/files/PSPFirmwares/
and went into the 1.5 folder, inside there is 2 files Eboot.PBP (13.2mb) and a msum.txt (textfile)

compare this 13.2 MB eboot file, and from this comment above , the PSP>GAME>Downdater>Eboot.PBP << this only 51KB
what's the difference?

thanks...

Hi,

I downloaded the mega pack from the ftp site.
Then copied the directory DOWNDATER (with DUMP, PRX and etc under it) to the root of my memory stick.
Then copied the directory (same name) from PSP>GAME>Downdater to the same structure on my memory stick.

I hope that helps.

Thanks
Paul.

that file is the 1.5 firmware.
the file in my pack is from my 1.5 psp which is what the tutorial tells u what to do.
just put the two folders in your psp as instructed
