could i ask a question sempi

i got mine installed today, i signed up for a sky id and checked my account details,

it says my monthly cost is £58.50, does it get discounted to half price upon billing me?

I did sign up over the phone and once i gave your code he did say it was half price for 12 months but i dont have any emails from them saying so.

should i be worried?

well tbh if the code was not genuine then the sky sales person would have said so, what do you think?

once i ordered the package i asked him to confirm that "i was getting it half price for a year"

he said yes.

why dont you phone them and ask it will put a lot of other peoples minds at ease.is there a way out of the contract if they are charging full price?

well i have just give sky a quick call and he has confirmed that my acount has a 12 month half price and that my payments will be £24.25 x 12.

excellent news mate so everyone should be the same IE showing full price before discount.

Its 8am and my installer should be with me at about 9.30, he rung me up last night to confirm installation. Mine says the full price rate but I did also ring sky who confirm I am having the bundle at over half price. Well excited lol. Looking forward to me new sky.

yes mate, from sky's website.. need to sign up to "my sky" then can see your bills etc.

Two weeks later by looks of it mate, was installed Saturday... an bill to be paid by 6/3

Got mine installed this morning.

500g Amstrad and it's a very good picture on SD and HD on a 42" panny plasma.

Well chuffed. Called em this afternoon on the pretence that I wanted to make sure they had my DD details correctly and they confirmed 2 bills (you pay a month in advance) to come out of my account within the next 5 week and they would consist of 2 x £24.25 and then £24.25 per month for the next 10 month.

By the way if your not aware you an manually add ITV HD (as its not already there !!!)

Go into:

Services

then

Add Channels

and enter the following:

Frequency: 11.427
Polorisation : H
Symbol Rate: 27.5
FEC: 2/3

Press yellow to scan and then add channel 10510

You can get into this channel by the "other channels" section under "options"

Doesn't seem to be broadcasting all the time but I beleive the footy etc is on there in HD
