hi :got this 2100 that wont give up its bk iam using ocd that has worked a treat for ages the unit is new out the box.done the battery short and put in the net id it updated fine was thinking that the byte command has changed iam using byte 0x00942d24 8 or theres an update in the software ... any one help me please iam in c&w

cheers charlie for the reply :done a few sammy's the ones that hav been on line still give the bk..its the new one's out the box having probs with has there bin a update to the software ...as to hide the bk ...a different byte ???

I think this is your problem jay 210, when they havent been on before you have to just set the net id only and update the box first ok, then you go back and short the bat and look for the bk after its taken the firmware update ok, then do everything as normal ie net id and pin etc.

PS try these bytes aswell:
BYTE 0x20020004 FF=ird
BYTE 0X00942D24 FF
BYTE 0XF6A8A8 FF
BYTE 0x00941460 FF

not necessary m8 if pc is running shit m8 you will get errors all over the place
try a reboot then open up ocd and enter in ( byte 0x00f6a930 8) without the ()
that's for ex c&w never had eney trouble unless pc ran like a bag ov shit
