Sagem 32mb Memory Module

I have just recently bought 2 memory modules for my two sagems.

As far as i'm aware the memory is the correct one for these boxes 32MB 100pin PC100 SDRAM DIMM, i tried them & neither seems to work.

When i tried them in the first dbox the lcd showed 32/32/08 but looped at the Lade... part over & over again, i then tried them in the 2nd dbox & nothing at all happened, the lcd showed 32/00/08 & booted as normal but didn't recognise the memory.

Anyone any ideas how i might be able to get the memory to work?

I've got no idea about the ram but what are you going to do with 72mb of Ram in a Dbox2?

A matching module for a sagem is a 32mb Kingston KTH-LJ4100/32 or HP C7845A.
Its printer ram not pc ram.

I was planning to use it in the box to help stability.

I've got 2 Dbox2s, one has 16Mb and the other has 32mb.

The 16mb one isn't too unstable - a little slow though and can crash if i channel hop too fast, the one with 32mb is perfect though.

72mb of RAM just seems like a waste of money.

If i look into the memory usage in Andromeda i find it's mostly up to 99% i've managed to lower it to around 70-80% by removing unwated channels etc, but i thought more memory would also help.

So nobody has any idea how i might get them to work then?
