hi guys for sale here i have a macbook pro 15" early 2011 core i7 @2.00ghz, model a1286, in excellent condition, does have a little dent in top cover and a couple of tiny little scratches but neither are very bad as you can see from the pics. i bought this broken from gumtree, the screen was smashed which i replaced with a genuine apple replacement part, battery was removed which i have also replaced and has had less then 10 charges since the replacement, which can be checked in the mac software to confirm, it also didnt have any ram in so i have upgraded the ram from the 4gb you get standard to 8gb of ram, i have also installed a brand new toshiba 128gb ssd so this thing flys along, everthing works as it should and it runs mountain lion effortlessly, also a free upgrade to mavericks is available from the app store. i have returned it to factory state and is ready to be set up as new for the lucky new owner.

it comes with a genuine uk magsafe charger too, keyboard is a US version keyboard but only difference i can tell is theres a dollar sign instead of pound sign, but upon setting the macbook up it will ask which keyboard you'd like to use just select british and it changes the button to £ anyway.

this is priced very good to sell as iv got my eye on a new dell xps laptop and there not cheap so cant justify keeping both.

all you will receive is the macbook itself and the genuine magsafe charger, i will make sure it is wrapped very well for courier to make sure it gets too you safe and it will need signed for upon delivery.

i accept paypal or cash on collection is fine also, if you have any questions just PM me and ill answer asap.

if i have missed anything out dont hesitate to get in touch and ill help where i can.

heres a specs lists of the same model apart from the changes i have stated above.

The MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.0 15-Inch (Early 2011/Thunderbolt) features a 32 nm "Sandy Bridge" 2.0 GHz Intel "Core i7" processor (2635QM), with four independent processor "cores" on a single silicon chip, a 6 MB shared level 3 cache, 4 GB of 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM (PC3-10600) installed in pairs (two 2 GB modules), a 500 GB Serial ATA (5400 RPM) hard drive, an 8X DL "SuperDrive", dual graphics processors -- an AMD Radeon HD 6490M with 256 MB of dedicated GDDR5 memory and an Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics processor that shares 384 MB of memory with the system -- and an integrated FaceTime HD webcam.

The standard configuration of this model has an LED-backlit 15.4" widescreen TFT active-matrix "glossy" display (1440x900 native resolution).

Connectivity includes AirPort Extreme (802.11a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Gigabit Ethernet, a Firewire "800" port, two USB 2.0 ports, separate audio in and out ports, an SDXC card slot, and a new "Thunderbolt" port that is backwards compatible with Mini DisplayPort and, likewise, supports an external display at 2560x1600 and passes an audio signal. Thunderbolt also supports other peripherals that use the Thunderbolt standard which provides up to 10 Gbps of bandwidth in both directions.

This model uses a "Unibody" aluminum case design -- milled from a single piece of aluminum -- and has a backlit keyboard, a "no button" glass "inertial" multi-touch trackpad, and a non-swappable battery design that provides an Apple estimated 7 hours of battery life.

Compared to its predecessor, this model has a very similar external enclosure, apart from a higher-resolution webcam and the aforementioned Thunderbolt port. Internally, however, it has a significantly faster architecture, faster RAM, and improved graphics.
