This is for EX Telewest only, I still need to find out if this works on NTL

I used another method to uncap so ive rewritten this damn program 3 times, thats why ive took so long

Ambit 250, 255 only.

Read the readme, Extract to a directory of your choice.

Won't work on dual modem or more setup.
If your using vista use at your on risk, not tested dont blame me if your modem dies or something lol

if i was to change the user name and password in the .txt files would it then work as i dont have default user and pass for telnet.

You should be able to do that.

The thing is, that page is just for the 1 modem. So I will assume it will write the config to 1 modem only.

Use at your own risk.

It writes configs only, If you press "Rewrite 20/768" when you are capped it can uncap you since the limit gets reset when you apply the config twice.

So this will most likely be used by most to uncap your modem, when you get capped without changing macs or waiting until midnight.

i have 2 250's connected up with a netgear dual wan router and this prog worked

It won't brick it, But it will write the wrong config so you won't get any internet access.
I'll post the NTL/CW Version soon.

There are 3 .txts which haave the commands in.

in the 20mb.txt youll see

SEND "cm-20480-768\n"

id say change that to your 20mb config

so should be SEND "cmreg-ntlhm250-bund03.cm\n"


and in the def.txt

SEND "cm-2148-256\n"

change to

SEND "cmreg-ntlhm250-mid.cm\n"
