Excellent! Thanks Team Commando!

I'll give this a whirl in the next few days.

One thing I've noticed though...

- Renamed "Read one partition" to "Backup One Partition" --> english.local
- Renamed "Write one partition" to "Flash One Partition" --> english.local
- Renamed "Software Update" to "Image Upgrade / Backup" --> english.local
...this means that all newbies working from tutorials may get confused as the menus/option naming has changed.

But I assume it will be of the usual high standard of image.

Thanks again for sharing!

1x here
2x here

desperate help required

Please can someone help , I'm absolutely desperate!!!
I just tried to flash commando 8.2 onto my sagem 1x box.
Everything seemed to go okay but when I re-booted all I get is "kernel loading" on my LCD and thats it. I tried to re-communicate with my dbox through Flash FXP but it won't connect now??
Can anyone one help ,please

Sounds like you will need to flash with IFA to get it going again.

Might just be one of those things!

devilfish , I've read up about flasing with IFA but in the instructions that I've seen you have to set up your LAN network and add in an IP addy, how do I know what it is ???

IFA should do this automatically for you. If not, just restore the minimised window (dbox2 boot manager), stop, change the IP to one in the same range as on your PC, then start..

The network card in your PC that you are using needs to have a static IP address (see pic).

Please keep this thread to Commando v8.20 feedback. If you have a problem with something else please start a new thread.
