what file do i rename iv got mobile navigator folder and map folder on root of sd card?

Rename Tomtom.exe to R66Navigate7.exe

The R66 software will only see and execute a file called R66Navigate7.exe

i havnt got a file called tomtom.exe, if i go into to mobile navigator folder on the root of the sd card , i get mobilenavigator type off exe file,??

what are you stuck with? just rename the mobilenavigator.exe file to R66Navigate7.exe. The version of tomtom you've got is probarbly set up for use on a navigo, mobilenavigator is what the exe is called on the navigo.

i tried renaming the app like witchy said but it didnt make a difference

i cant find the exe file either

I can see there is a way of downloading europe maps, but need idiot-proof instructions it seems.

I'm guessing you would have to rename the mobile navigator folder as well to whatever the original app was called, prob R66Navigate7.

hi all iv done everything stated but my rac 200 dont want to know. is there anybody here who knows how i can get the original software for the rac 200 as iv lost my disk and the sat nav is a paper weight at the moment. id be very greatfull for any help plus would the igo8 fit on the 256 memory card if so il try that

iv managed to get tom tom on the rac sat nav 200 now it took a while but got the in the end. just got 1 problem iv tryed all settings for the gps. i can get sats but cant get a signal the screen just says waiting for a valid gps signal i have had a signal a coulple of times but i just keep loseing it. has anybody have any ideas on how to fix this problem??????????????

hi, the way i got tom tom working on the rac 200 was a pain but i formated the sd card with my card reader then put the card back into the satnav and turned on the sat nav then windows mobile device centre opend up then i clicked on file managment and there is a link for brouse the contents of your device open that and select SDMMC that is yr sd card now while that is opend find the tom tom files and open mobilenavigator and change the named file from mobilenavigator to R66navigate7 once that is done just drag and drop all the files in the mobilenavigate to the sd card this do's take a while plus it might say this file might not work with yr device ignore that and add all files and once that is done u can check to see if it works and if it do's u can add the map folder as one, drag and drop again. then follow the instructions in the keygen folder and follow the steps and hopefully yr done. i had to buy a external arial to get my gps working but you can get these from ebay if yrs plays up like mine the arial you need is a

gps antenna 1m length mmcx with a 180 degree straight connector
