PSP2003 - Upgrade from 3.60 M33 to latest version CFW

Hi Guys,

Been a while since I have been on here as not been involved with Consoles/Cable/Sattelite stuff for ages!

But i know this is the best place to come for when I have been handed a challenge.

A mate of mine has given me his kids PSP which they haven't used for ages and its currently on 3.60 M33 (I think I did the upgrade years ago on it lol). The would like it upgraded to the latest CFW.

Could someone give me some pointers on the best way of doing this and what the best CFW version is for this?

I had a quick read and have tried the Pro PSP FW Update (660-B10.zip) from the stickies but i just get "This program doesnt support your FW" error.

Any help advice would be greatfully received.

2003 is the slim i think.

The last update I did to mine was 6.60 ME-1.6 which you can load from the memory stick.

It's been a while since I did it, but I'm sure you may have to load a previous revision then essentially upgrade it. 3.6 M33 is quite old, and I recall having to go up a few revisions on mine to get to 6.6

The original hack i did with a Pandora Battery.

Problem is that a lot of people uploaded to megaupload. Obviously that means some files have gone missing and people end up going in circles.
