when i first got my box back from a friend after it got sorted i could access the on demand stuff for a week or 2,then i got the usual contact cable provider warning

Sounds like the TB is intact mate and the box has been blacklisted, you need to pull out the tuner can and cut the TB

Dead easy mate to cut.

With the TB intact the box can be seen on the network and it reports back to the head-end, you would be surprised what it tells them too. It's only blacklisted for the interactive/on-demand stuff so there's no point in having the TB connected anyway, you can't get anything and you're showing up on their network.

I was just wondering is it worth all the hassle for me to learn about modding the Pace or is it good for starting off.
