old fat jasper 360 only powers up with controller

son still has the fat xbox360 ,started getting a bit noisy unplugged it and cleaned out airvents with vacumn ,pluggred it back in to find it wouldnt power up ,either with power button or eject
it does however power up with controller.
cant even use eject button to put try back in when it is powered on .
non off the usb ports are damaged 100% definately ok .

really strange as its not even been opened since new. theres no info (or i cant find any) on the subject .

any repairers out there who have come across this ? whats the solution if you have

this sounds real weird,the only thing i can think is motherboard is not sitting righg in its cage.i have a slim like this the ribbon connecting to the board is ripped but i dont really mind using joypad.

im thinking rf board (the board that has the on/off button on it) but that doesnt really explain the eject button?

Not really wise to use a hoover as you get a lot of static electricity from them and a good chance of blowing something , i would try another RF board first.
