no channels on cr2

ive been given a pace 2000 by a friend to see if i can get it going. the problems is that it doesnt pick up all the channels, in total it has around 30-40 channels all are freeview and radio. the box is on cr2 and im using a funcard which, in the engineers menu says blacklisted. ive already reset the box and used the correct net id but nothing. what could be the problem?? will this box have to be updated to the new VM software to pick up the channel table?

no but am i right in saying that even without a card the box should pick up the right channel list.

yes it shud do even wiv out a card, but if it aint theres a problem have u checked the card status in engineer menu,
