newbie question

right then have just got a humax irc5300 stb with built in viacess
havent had time to put up the motorised dish yet so i thought i would give it a go with the old sky digital dish got some channels out of it but some of them are asking for a viacess card
what files do i need and can i put then on a gold card using elvis?

I know a gold card can be programmed with an elvis. You just need the right files.

Just thinking aloud here! If your STB recieves any encrypted channels. It will probably ask for a viaccess card no matter what encryption is being used, as it only knows viaccess.

So make sure you are deffo on a channel using that! when trying out.
