Need some help

hi there
i am trying to get all the channels in nthell
I have got fun4 card and
i have used usb infinity to get my exteep file and used SwapBinHex to change it into bin file then used
NagraEdit to edit the date which is 22AB
then changed it back to hex using SwapBinHex

I have got my bk id and ird as well

and i used NetIDs to make my flash file


I dont know what i am doing wrong but i am getting black screen on all paid channels free ones are coming normally

can someone please tell me what i am doing wrong

i get no errors when i write these file through infinity usb and even when i put the card inside the box i dont get any message

just black screen on the paying channels

I live in Luton / Dunstable area
can some one please help me

using wot to make flash file ??m8 you really need to read up that is not a flash file
there is a tool bar that has the flash file on it
make your exteep - download the flash file
load exteep + flash ( in that order ) then write to the card
wot you are trying to do is dream and hope it works m80 lol

well i downloaded the toolbar called TCB.cc as well
and downloaded the flash file but it still didnt work

well why dont u guide me a bit . I tried to look at many tut but still not successful . and i am sure i might be doing something wrong but can you please tell me what am i doing wrong

and yah i have tried to use TCB.cc and tried the flash there but to tell u but may be i am not downloading the correct flash

Tut by Charlie Senators, which i have Updated:

You need these files

Toxic 7 or RHV1
Swapbinhex
Latest Flash File(flash file for your area)

1FIND THE RIGHT FLASH FOR YOUR AREA (ntl ,tw ,excw)
2RENAME THIS MY FLASH.HEX
3OPEN UP TOXIC 7AND ENTER YOUR IRD STRAIGHT IE 12 OR 3E FIRST
4ENTER YOUR BK
5CLICK THE RADIO BUTTON FOR YOUR AREA (ntl ,tw ,excw)
6SAVE THIS TO THE DESKTOP AS MY EXTEEP
7THIS GENERATES A .BIN FILE
8NOW DRAG THE .BIN FILE OVER THE TOP OF SWAPBINHEX
9THIS NOW GENERATES A .HEX FILE
10DELETE THE OLD .BIN FILE SO YOU DON’T GET MIXED UP
11OPEN UP YOUR PROGRAMMER AND WRITE THE FILES ONE AT A TIME IN
12 THIS ORDER
13MY EXTEEP
14MY FLASH
15PUT THE CARD IN YOUR BOX
16PUT BOX ON BBC 1
17GIVE IT UP TO 5 MINUTES TO UPDATE

Use the toolbar for files...

dont write each file one at a time load files exteep flash then write
it may also take a lot longer than 5 mins to update

Just to be clear the flash file i ll be needing is from tcb.cc ( chatter box ) toolbar
in files and fixes>update and fixes>card fixed >8th April 2009>Pure nthell> Pure fun fix.

is that the flash file i ll be needing

OK well i did try again and i am getting the same black screen on all the paid channels

I dont know what i am doing wrong but i will tell u
i have got a box which is samsung 2100 c and on the box it also says ntl

I downloaded the file from toolbar and mad Exteep file basicaly follwed the tutorial
But still i am getting the black screen

click on guide then all channels are any grey instead of white ?? if not leave it to update

did you put the box on channels 1-5 and left it for 5mins or more to update... if you still get a blank screen then your bk might be wrong.. check that your not getting confused with B and 8 etc...

tee_111 yes i did leave it on BBC 1 for 10 mins then checked but same story

I ll check once again but i dont think my BK is wrong

I did have a look at the BK and it is ok there is no problem

go into eng menu... what does it say under card status? the card could be blacklisted or have mute err etc...

also try this flash m8.. it could be your using the wrong flash file..

sorry guys i was away cos of exams i couldn't get time to test it but
i tried it again every time i get the same thing a black dcreen on all paid channels
I am sure about BK and IRD key are correct
I got IRD key from the exteep file and from the engineers menu so it is correct
and i got BK key from exteep file and also it was written under my box it was half faded but the one left one matches the BK key from exteep so i think there is no problem with IRD and BK key
the only thing i get is black screen nothing written the screen

give your card a little longer to update, some cards take a while to update, blank screen is normally false bk or image.. or try a different card...

i would say that either your not usin the right flash or your not leavin it long enough
check the men if all the channels are bright ( none greyed out then it is fine and leave it
