Need help updating

Hi i want to update the channels on my dm800 box i have downloaded rats bouquet but im not really sure what to do with the files i normally use DCC to connect to my box and update the C line, do i just place the bouquet files in a folder or something

Have a read of the sticky on how to use dbedit.

Consider using his updater plugin.

hi yeh im going to use the updater, do i need to make a backup of anything first or does it just overwrite whats needed

The updater updates the channel lists.

(It is prudent to keep backups of important files in any case.)
