N-line not working :(

Guys i have recently come across a fellow with 2 of these boxes and i added a nl-ine into it but from day 1 he says it has never worked! I went and had a look and he was right it worked for like 3 secs then froze then i did not see it move again (i was there a hour).

I took 1 home eventually found here and have flashed it with this image

But i get the same problem infact i cannot get the line to work whatsoever all FTA work fine . Anyone help me out with this tedious problem. Oh i have put the line into a different box and worked fine .
