On the clones I think it is the power supply that does not have enough power to turn the motor but saying that I have clone and a tm2200 motor and it runs fine.

i was just going to do it myself but i didnt think about motor noise as some people in this block are old and they complained at 4pm on a sunday when i hammered a few cables ties in the wall outside my flat
ill get it sorted just going to take time i think.

£150 + VAt for installation is a joke of a price and the others are not willing to climb upto 7m to fit a dish. ive spoke to me neighbour and he's fine with me having my dish on his wall

is it ok to join sat cable? im going to be a few metres short say 5-10 about 40m total so i was goign to get a f coupler instead of paying another £50 for cable
any advice?

Thats what I did, I was about 2 metres short, so used one of these and taped it up with self amalgamating tape, It reduced signal by about 3% but other that that its fine

ah mint i think 5% should be fine then ill make sure i get good quality cable
the one ive got at min was £1 a mtr but its filled with strange white foam stuff is that good quality?

eventually got me dish up tonight and its getting
13e 19e 23e no problem moves to them using diseqc 1.2 no problem but not with usals on me eagle box
i spent litterally 5 mins aligning the dish at 1w but it wont pick anything up from there or 16e signal is too weak. should my 80cm dish pick them all up?
also for some strange reason the dish is still moving to 0* when i say goto 28.2e no matter what i do it keeps going to 0*
tried resetting the motor but still noting...any suggestions?
also wheres best for ardcore pr0n? wanted to show me mate (/pull me plonker at some point) but i couldnt find any other than playboy and spice

Well i managed to get 28.2e to sync up about 90% SNR. Should it be even higher with a 80cm? most sats are about 80-90%
it wont sync with anything before 13e to 1w what should i be getting with a 80cm? i thought 7e and 1w should be fine and even though i'd get 16e but i cant sync with that either

anyone shed some light on this as i dont fancy ringing up me mate to bring down ladders again as its bit of a nightmare as he has to ring his mate to drop them off and come pick them up and there isnt anywhere i can leave them safely so i cant spend all night doing it
I was just wondering if anyone else in England (NE) has a 80cm dish and manages to pick up 1w, 7e and 16e with a 80cm dish. signal on 28e 23e 19e 13e is 83-90% so i thought i must be pretty bang on? first time doing this so i'm not too sure

Just a thought. If your dish set up is ok just do a transponder search on the satellites you think you havn't got. Go through the transponders and see if you get a signal. i am using a 95cm dish and I get everything from
45*east to 45* west, with one or two exeptions and those exeptions are because of obstacles.

i'm in south shields (near newcastle) and have a 90cm dish and pick everything up ok with that, except the likes of 7w and i can get past 39e due to my roofline.
sync should be ok with them signals, maybes reflash box and clear the flash memory before trying another image on it, you might stuggle with 16e on a 80cm as it's a lower satellite...should get it ok in the clear sky but come rain etc could be a different story.
19.2e preimere has good hardcore on it EROTIC AB 18 (has subservices usually via green button) and 5e has hustler tv (might be named PG and PB), 13e has loads of porn on TPS shows it after 11 on the multivision channels aswell as private spice, MCT is also open but is quality is a little poor

so 16e is a no no with my 80cm unless its bang on ande clear sky...do you get it on cloudy / rainy days with your 90cm?
wonder if my bracket is slightly off vertical? i used a L Shape bracket and took me mates word for it that it was straight when he was up there

i'm not saying its asefo no no for 16e u might get it if alligned correctly, i get most channels on mine like channel x and digitalab1,2,3 etc but i dont get some of the weaker transponders if scanning for a feed etc

I tried doing a transponder scan on 1w and 7e and niether would sync up so im defo having to go out and check everything and align it again

you think a slight lift or decline on the dish itself might sort out me signal? tried manual moving motor east and west a tiny bit but it just gets worse

Well i spent about half hour aligning my dish only for me to slip and knock it completely off again i was gutted!! anyways though i dont think im going to be able to get 0.8w (THOR) with a 80cm i tried moving it up and down left and right and the signal didnt get any better
one thing i did notice though when im telling my dish to goto 7e 5e its just sitting at 0* so thats prob why im not getting those think some manual east and west movements is going to be required!!
does anyone on this forum have a 80cm dish and manage to get 0.8w THOR I got a few channels like CANAL + SPORT 1or2 and loads of channels beginging with 24 and the BBC world ones too. but i think maybe they where on 1w and not thor? Canal Sport [D/E/F/N] werent coming on though
but i noticed it kept losing its SYNC! didnt bother trying 16e might give that ago again when the season starts up as ill never check there until season starts
Does your firmware store any locations of satellites or is it all motor based? Think im going to change firmware fromt his Eagle one and its pretty pants!! which one should i go for other than gemini?
Does anyone have any good addon servers i can add onto other images?

I got Thor fine with a 78cm Triax here in Northern Ireland, Thats also using a 0.1lnb, When using a TM 9100 which is also Linux based, I had to reboot the box after storing every sat as the box played silly beggars and had a mind of its own, it may be the same with your box. What you would need to do to try this is, factory reset the box, add say thor then scan reboot, add another sat and do the same

think my dish is the same as yours im in Newcastle so i should be closer than you as its aimed at nordic area?
I think i need to flash erase me box a few times and then do a hardware reset of my motor and start again
Total pain though as my rs232 doesnt work on pc and it wont work with USrs232 either so i have to trek down me mams to use me sisters pc!
