motorised dish and dreambox's

just moved to non cable area been reading up about dm 500s and the motorised dish so would i need two dishes to have two dreamboxes in difierent rooms as the dish moves

NO you would need one dish and a dual LNB.

And a 500s in each room.

Just means that both receivers would need to watch something on the same satellite. Not sure about this but I think only one receiver would have the ability to move the dish.

For sure only one reciever can control the dish. If you will be the same person watching in the other room, then you don,t need 2 boxes. it will be cheaper to buy a transmitter which will send images and control the one box from another room with just a tv. about £30 for the transmitter.
