Gnats mate, not mosquitos. Get some Tiger Balm, it will stop the itching instantly.

Mosquitoes are in cold countries too m8 over 2,ooo types of them
They don’t like coconut oil so that’s good to use at night time as the sun will get you in the day don’t use after shave they like that try using dove soap to wash with they don’t like that too much.

Let's move before they raise the parking rate.
I tried to buy a Mozzy head net today from Millets, but they completely sold out due to the demand from concert goers etc.

I'm off to climb Ben Nevis tomorrow, so will probably get eaten alive by the ferocious Highland Midge.

Mosquitos love me, my record is 17 bites at the same time (in Alcudia).

My most recent bites were 4 on my ears, 1 on my forehead & 1 on my throat.

I've tried to replace as much of my blood with malt whisky as possible, but that didn't make any difference.

Their high-pitched whine fills me with dread :(

A little old hairy lady, once showed the missus whe nwe were in greece, to relieve the after pain, rub vinegar on the bites, takes them straight down!

Missus stunk liek a chippy but it stopped her moaning

wot without alcohol .

how dare anyone wrie such filth on here even to think of drinking tonic neat is depraved let alone advising others:FRIGHT:
what a waste of tonic when you can use medicine and save the tonic for much more important things like a long cool vat in the garden during this brief sunny spell:beer::bbq::drunk: is the way forward

Pop two paracetamol's if the mozzies/midges are really getting to you. I used to use this technique when out riding in the forests and I never got bitten once. Apparently it makes your blood taste sour so they leave you alone.

If you're hiking or doing the physical activity the paracetamol's will give you some extra performance as well :)

Can't believe it.

Had a BBQ at the mother in laws last year.

Got ant bites (big feckers). Ended up with a swollen leg, the oedema was agony, and a week on antibiotics.

Guess what? Had another BBQ on saturday there. I'm now laid up on the couch smothered in betnovate/sudocrem with another old womans leg, with an ice pack taped to my leg.

Bloody ants/ mother in laws.

Looks like you mother-in-law keeps a handful of them biting ants in her pocket awaiting for her favourite son-in-law to turn up, no one can be that unlucky LOL. Leave the wife at home and next time take this fella

Avon's Skin So Soft can help repel the little sods.

I was out and about yesterday (climbing Ben Nevis no less), on the way back down I started wandering through marshes near a loch, part of the way up.
I kicked up hundreds of flying, biting things which started swarming around my face, so I sprayed some Calypso insect repellent over my arms and head...problem solved instantly.

If you Google for "calypso insect repellent spray", you should find it OK.
