kryptview voice over problem

got my box up and running,but on a couple of chanels there is a voice describing whats happening!on screen .does anybody know how to turn this off. also any tut's on how to set up favourites,my old brain don't work to good nowdays,your help appreciated.

There's a brand new beta firmware out just today that addresses this very problem.

I understood there were 4 or 5 channels that had this on permanently - by design - no firmware is likely to fix this on these channels.

Yes but that does not include the movie channel. These have multiple audio streams - including one with commentary description.

can i ask why this would affect you and not me, as i would take a guess that you would be using the firmware that i am using as the new one has only just been released. So why would this problem not be on mine but is on yours if this new firmware addressess this problem?
Just trying to get to grips with it all.

Possibly because you are in different area's. I think the problem was mainly in exC&W areas where the audio channels are ordered incorrectly in the DVB tables.
