How do I save all my settings

With all of this flashing I have been doing lately I am thinking there must be an easier way instead of having to re-scan all the sats everytime I put a new image on. I have saved my User Bouquet and Settings, but it doesn't seem to save my Sat locations. Is there a quick way around this?

Not sure with other images but using Gemini, ftp to the box, look in /var/tuxbox/config/enigma and save your config file to your pc. When you reflash the image just ftp to the box again and put the config file back, turn box on and off and your sat positions should be back to how you had them on the older image..

best to just backup your image once your soerted it to your own settings and also good thing to just copy the whole of the /var folder to your pc incase of reflashing or if anything goes wrong ..

have you tried microsoft virtual pc for mac?
