Hi I am new to site and having problems with vu+ duo clone v3.2. I was not aware it was a clone untill i tried to update it, now I am unable to find Apollo firmware for it. the site I am suppose to get updates from is all old firmware and never updated.

can anyone help me please. I still have channels etc, but no feeds or ts media or anything. I need to try and keep it on vix firmware as its easier for my children to work it.

hi thank you i managed to install but feeds are down. is there any way to install plugins manually

FTP the ipk to the tmp folder then use the images software manager to manually install it.

Although with some plugins it is better to do the install via telnet.

whats telnet? i am new to this only got vu+ duo in march

Basically a remote app you use on your PC to send commands to your box.

DCC has this or you can use the standalone app Putty.

is that the same as flashFXP.
I managed to get ts media installed v4.9 but it will not update

No that is FTP.

Install putty on your pc.

With flashFPX send the latest tsmedia to the tmp folder.
Start Putty and tick the telnet box.
Enter your IP in the host box and click on open

Login with the image user and password then copy and paste this command.

opkg update && opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

Hit enter

You may need to remove your current version of tsmedia for this to install.
