Hey, any chance someone can help an idiot like myself unlock both a 3310 and 3210. I have heard that once you have read the data from the phone you then need to short out the EEPROM ?? Is this correct and can anyone give me a step by step guide ??
Thanks.....

i have heard that you can short out the eeprom connectors... but y not go to http://www.divineo.co.uk and get your self some dejan leads which are pretty cheap and you then use NU2000 which will do all the work for U

there is a software called flasher.com where you use partail or full flashes to unlock your phone but b warned u can kill your phone if you dont no what you are doing

also you might have older model phones in which case you can get the single data leads from divineo also with software like all nokia or cyberphreak you can unlock them

i will upload all the softwares i spoke about except the flasher.com soft you can find that anywhere and its at your own peril

also to find out what model you have type *#0000# (with a sim chip in the phone.. ie 121, orange)

Yep, absolutley, use NU2000 as it will tell you if it can't unlock the s/w version phone you connect to it

Flashers can cause bother unless you really know how to use them and dead phones aren't much fun, although you can trade the spare batteries for things

Guys you are both stars !! thanks..I already have a data cable and can read the data from the phone but when I press the button to open all ( as two are closed ) it does absolutely nowt..What am I doin wrong ?? Thanks
Also that NU2000 you talk about - Is that software if so where can I get it??
Also do I need a T6 screw driver?

ok mate u are using the old type cable(f-m bus on com port) what u need is the new dejan cables(i just brought some at the local comp fair for £20 all leads)and that attaches to ur ltp1 port and is quite easy to use let me know and ill send u the software and the instructions on how to use it.

huggi

what software are u using to read the phone ??? because if it reads the phone normally that means you got the right leads for that model of phone unless the software states that it is the wrong model number and wont programme it ??? (sorry that sounds a bit confussing but it is right )

also i have had phones that would look like its working fine and when i open all locks the blasted thing would work on the network it was on but it would give me blank screen on the other networks

let us know what the software spits out and we will try to help you out M8

On the older 3210's you could short out pin 7+8 and use an mbus cable to unlock it with simple software..
on the 3310 get your self a set of dejan cables and nu2000 and do it like that..although the newer 3310+3330's a log file needs to be sent away to be changed to get the phone to read the sim again..

Thanks again for all ya info. Basically I have got those dejan? Leads and will down the software later..I have got XP on my machine - aint much good with unlocking software so I am gonna have a dual boot. Also the F-bus cable reads the phone but I need a T6 screw-driver to get to the chip. Its never easy is it ?? Thanks again for all your help, I will let you know how I get on.... ;0 )

if you have a flasher lead then try www.spunlock.com for the latest software for all models of nokia, or you could try www.activemobiles.com click on flasher leads and download the software from there, on the same site you can buy whats called a nokia clip, it flashes and unlocks phones without the need for a PC

enjoy

spunlock.com dont work, follow this instead

http://www.activemobiles.com/nokia_flasher.htm

and download the windows software, its a good proggie
