WORRIED NEWBIE
Hi All Ihave read many postings to try and find my answer - to no avail
MY PROBLEM IS:
I recently had to contact N-L for tech support on broadband after downgrading from 2mb to 1mb - but keeping my viewing package as was, then afterwards on next day my DBOX was playing up I rescanned and got less channels than before AND the picture is jumpy on some channels and also some sound problems I kept doing repeated scans and there is some improvement but some channels still missing.
IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY OF N-L BEING ABLE TO MONITOR MY VIEWING AND/OR DETECTING MY BOX.
I am using a splitter and keeping my providers box on. When not in use the dbox is turned off not standby
software is SPORTSTER 1.73 AND NUETRINO
PRIOR to this problem I did have freezing issues now and then but rebboting cured it each time
PLEASE REPLY AS I AM SHI**ING MYSELF OVER POSSIBILITIES OF THE BIG BROV. SYNDROME
 
Hi and welcome to the forum. Have a read in the new members section and the rules.

The dbox is undetectable by the cable company because it doesn't have talkback.

If your box is playing up, try flashing a newer image.
Try removing the splitter and connecting straight onto the feed.
