been reading on another place that wizardmods has been hacked there site is down till futher notice and there homepage says to change any passwords that you might of used there for anywhere else
delete if you like but needs to be said tbh

Please change any passwords you use over the internet

Wizardmods database has been compromised.

WARNING any ex-member of wizardmods shud change their passwords if they used same on there and here or anywhere else. their database got posted publicly of all the users. you have been warned. obv if you used different username you should be ok

Tell me about it. I got banned from there ages ago for something really silly. I'm glad it's been hacked. terrible terrible site.
He most likely got phished or something haha.

For example, his shoddy admin skills show up when he moved me to the "banned" area, yet he couldn't even configure it right so you could post in another section, so I just posted random crap in there to piss him off haha.

Yep, it did have a pretty extensive Modem section, only reason i would go there.

Unless they know how to extract it from the database and the md5 I doubt they have passwords.... however they could set up a test board and email everyone false information ?

But they might be able to crack the encryption, but I doubt it very much tbh.

MD5 is not that secure, can be cracked using rainbow tables :-/ SHA1 on the other hand.. hm.

Has the DB been leaked so we can check?
