Anyone know what I need to do now ??

when i got somthing from the states it was handed over to customs and i had to pay £20 customs charges even though they sent it as a gift and lowered the amount it was worth.

It gets handed to parcel farce and i had to ring them to pay the fee and then they delivered it.

Yer I thought I might have to pay to get it from customs but dont know how to go about it is it just a case of waiting for them to contact me ?

Yeah just keep tracking the parcel m8 and if it comes up with held by customs or somthing like that it should give you details of the carrier thats holding it in my case it was parcel force and there was a new tracking number i then rang parcel force and paid over the phone with debit card.

It was then delivered next working day.

You never know it may pass through ok.

Thatsa mental i wonder why they would just send it back and not contact you? unless this is a trick of theres making you think somthings been sent knowing it will get returned to them whatever it is.

possibly to sting you for more charges to resend?

According to the tracker they have now been delivered and signed for back in Shanghai so I am assuming they have been returned to sender. I have emailed asking for a refund but suprise suprise no reply, they were actually replying when they didnt know what was going on but since they have been confirmed recieved.........nothing

To think what I could of done with that £328

Guys i wouldnt go anywhere near this DVBMonkey crowd. They sent me a faulty box, i returned it to blackburn to be fixed, in December and have still not received anything, i was too late in opening a paypal dispute so went direct to alliance and leicester and opened a dispute about an unpaid item, they refunded my money within 10 days and have taken it up with paypal. Glad to have the protection so i would advise contacting your card issuer if anyone is in the same boat i found myself in.

also, can anyone recommend a good dealer for a dreambox S type? something thats reasonable price wise, and reliable in that im not gonna get a box of tripe again?

I got mine from linuxsat.co.uk m8 he is based in uk huddersfield infact £125 for a dm 600s delivered next day via special delivery he is always on msn and his webby has a forum should you have any probs.

My remote broke after a cpl of weeks i sent it back and he replaced it no problems. They are ofc clones at that price and some peeps think it's expensive but after the nightmare of this thread imo it's worth a bit more.

rodbouy few people are telling me they are back to the green pcbs, look at the bottom is your pcb board inside green or orange? also is the box it came in more of a light blue or a dark blue?

just trying to work out how bad the ones are they are selling at the min lol

I have filed a dispute with paypal seen as though my boxes went on a round the world tour. I haven't had any reply from my last 8 emails to DVBmonkey though.

I ordered a Dreambox from DVBMonkey on 4th December last year and have heard nothing since, they don't reply to emails, don't answer tickets and don't answer messages left on their "live" support facility. I believe they have absolutley no intention of sending me anything!

I f you used paypal get your money back m8 like others here have if you used debit/credit get on to your bank/credit car company.

I stopped updating this with the progress of my claim cos I was boring the life out of myself never mind anyone else !!! haha

I have now filed a dispute with paypal who are reviewing it at the moment (got to wait until 24th march until they give me an answer though). When they asked DVBmonkey for a tracking number they give them the one which proves I have never received anything and has been returned to them so I dont know how it can go against me but the way everything else has gone wrong with this order i'm not expecting anything.

My other mate has just had his D500c arrived today and was ordered 3 weeks ago. and Again the PCB is Green with a Dark Blue/green and light green. Boxes inside and out, solder etc are neat and of a decent standard to look at also, Up and running with the DW beta v0.3 so he is a happy customer.
