DSL Repair Help Please!

Hi all,

A friend has asked if I or anyone I know can repair her DSL. Her grandson stuck something in the cartridge slot bending some of the pins inside. She has bought a replacement part but cannot solder it on because the pins are very small.

Has anyone else replaced this part before or be willing to have a go at replacing this part?

i have done one in the past sorry couldnt do one now

when dsl is stripped heat up and remove the shield away from the slot
then you can heat up individual pins and remove them all

clean up the solder points and relplace with new slot easy

Its easy enough to do, aslong as you have a steady hand, good eye site and good with a soldering iron. Just be very carefull though, if you take up any tracks, your buggered.
