Hi,

I haven't time to do school unfortunately... but. An interesting project. ... Could someone's homework be to get an enigma image to have the same button functionality as neutrino (ie press ok and you go straight to a bouquet, then left or right to other bouquets) Or is this doable already? Its the only reason I use neutrino. Hope its going well.

copy /share/tuxbox/enigma/resources/rcdm5xxx.xml
to /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/resources/rcdm5xxx.xml

then edit rcdm5xxx.xml and change : -
<actionmap name="serviceSelector">
<action name="nextBouquet" key="bouqup" flags="mr" />
<action name="prevBouquet" key="bouqdown" flags="mr" />

to
<actionmap name="serviceSelector">
<action name="nextBouquet" key="next" flags="mr" />
<action name="prevBouquet" key="prev" flags="mr" />


You can then use the arrow keys next to the "0" key to change bouquets

Right, been playing with Enigma and Neutrino for a few days and I think I am now ready to enroll in the School of Dreambox I am leaning towards Neutrino at the moment as its the only image that I have been able to tweak to (almost) perfect. Still cant get the DVD player to stream to the DB though. Unsure why as I can record to the pc fine and play MP3's from the PC to the Dreambox.

Anyways... How do I enroll - is the above speach enough or do I have to fill out an application form !?!

Hi obwan, i have done that and i get Fatal Error; parse error:mismatched tag at line 279.

Box still alive so ftp deleted rcdm5xxx.xml from var/tuxbox/config/enigma/resources/ and box restarted ok (but as normal). Any other way to change rcdm5xxx.xml in the box?

Thats exactly what I did.

I am having a string of dead ends recently. On 2 (out of 2) boxes no matter what I try I can't update the CAMs. They download but fail to install. Manual method fails also. Doesnt matter what image I put on initially (obviously one that supports blue panel update)

I suspect both of these failures are somehow related perhaps to flash wizard pro or something that stops images accepting changes.

I gave up and put neutrino 0.9b on with its new tuner driver it did the trick. I only have about 15 mins every month to dabble alas.

Been on the Dbox2 scene for a while now and always wanted to know how to create images, plugins etc. I dont have any programming experience but if you show/tell me something once it usually sticks. So can some one pm me the password for the school please.

Hi Guys

Any chance of sending me the password to get into the school ?

Running Cryo's Neutrino 0.9 on DM500c (which is a stunning image - working very nicely - and much better than Enigma in my opinion).
Also just got a TM9100 (multibooting Juliet009 and UR008b5), and interested in learning more about building / hacking away at my own image.

I did have a play at building my own Dreambox image when i first got the 500c, but could never get neutrino to build.
I've noticed work is progressing on Neutrino, has there been any luck in getting it compiled and working from the source ?
