Dreambox 500S

Hi,

Can I convert my Dreambox 500S to a Dreambox 500C as I have cable and not Sky.
Is it a simple matter of converting the software (Flash) or there a hardware change I must do.

as the tuners are different

for cable /satellite and teresterial

Hi m8,
Only the DM600 is able to have its tuner changed from C to S, the tuner for the DM500 is built in. Try see if anyone is interesting in a swap.

The DM7025 also has plug and play tuners.

Although they're not compatible with the DM600.
