Dlink DSL-G624M as access point ?

Can I use an old D-Link DSL-G624M as an access point for my dreambox which is located well away from my main router ? I want to try to avoid running wires all over the house to get my dreambox working.

and did a few google searches, but couldnt see anywhere to suggest it would work as a wireless repeater.
