It's come to my attention that a V+ HD box with an unpaired yellow house card will still record the FTA. Is this true and if so, can you shed any light on which boxes will do said trick and which to avoid.

Which type of card and are they easy to get hold of?

I was always under the impression that you needed a paired and subbed card?

After a bit of searching, it seems that as long as it is an old blue card that was V+ enabled and i'm assuming the original subber had a white replacement and hasn't cancelld the sub then the old card should work.


I wish i knew this before trying to JTAG a pace 3100. lol

Came accross an old Pace box at the local bootsale with a white card and to my pleasant suprise the V+ worked for FTA.
