You can add any channels you don't want to the unwanted channels file, they then get removed automatically even after a rescan.

Dunno whats goin on I never had a prob, maybe it's slightly different format for different area.

Any how, you can manualy create one.

Look in services.xml for the first TS entry. (mine is below)

Can't test yet as not got dreambox yet.

only from experience most people fall in this area when scaning fails they don't check that the scan.conf must match the cable.xml

Grant i feel as if my hands are tried alittle with not have a dreambox to experiment on...

have you got a copy of an old scan.conf & cable.xml from a IMG that you know works... if so copy them across to this IMG... test.

Have you edit the any of the above files, if so did you use an advance notepad editor or normal notepad??

if you have been editing files and still no joy.
try a reflash and before you try nit fast scanning try a full scan first. if you dont know if you are 6952 or 6887 there is an option to scan them both at the same time. which will be like a bruteforce scan.

harvey ive been trying since cryo upped this image to get it to fast scan i can pick up some channels with fast scan but not all!!! "strange" using slow scan picks up all channels tho m8
